Archibald Campbell Craig

Archibald Campbell Craig MC (1888–1985) was a Scottish minister and biblical scholar[1] who served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1961.

He was born on 3 December 1888 in the Scottish Borders the son of Rev Alexander McRae Craig.

[2] In the First World War he served in the 13th battalion Royal Scots.

He was awarded the Military Cross and later transferred to the Intelligence Corps.

[3] In 1920 he was ordained as a minister in the Church of Scotland and first served in Galston, Ayrshire and then Hillhead in Glasgow.
