Archibald Ross Lewis

Archibald Ross Lewis (August 25, 1914 – February 4, 1990) was an American historian, World War II Veteran, professor, and author.

[3] Archibald Ross Lewis was born on August 25, 1914, in Bronxville, New York.

[3] Lewis served for 5 years in World War Two, working in field artillery.

[2] Most of what we know about his military service comes from his book, War in The West, which he wrote shortly before he died of a heart attack in 1990.
