Arguvan (Kurdish: Erxewan/Arxewan)[2] is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.

The Kurdish Atman tribe reside in ten villages and hamlets in the district.

Other Kurdish tribes include the Direjan, Kurecik,[6] and the Parçikan.
