Arja Inkeri Alho (born 21 March 1954) is a Finnish politician.
[1] She resigned the government in October 1997 when it was revealed that she had agreed to reduce the compensation that Ulf Sundqvist had been sentenced to pay.
[2] Alho is member of the Social Democratic Party.
She initially graduated from a nursing school in 1977 but later earned a PhD in political science from the University of Helsinki in 2004.
