Arlette Roxburgh

Roxburgh attended Long Island University and obtained a bachelor's degree in chemistry.

Some time later, she met an Italian man named Luigi Scapino from Rome, Italy.

[1] In 1996, then New Jersey Devils GM Lou Lamoriello met Roxburgh on the streets of New York City on 2nd Avenue.

Lamoriello was very impressed by her musical talent, so he asked Roxburgh if she could perform The Star-Spangled Banner before the Devils home games.

Also, when the Nets were in New Jersey at the former Continental Airlines Arena, Arlette sang the anthem during their home games as well.
