Arlington P. Van Dyke

Arlington Paul Van Dyke (October 26, 1926 – February 28, 1990) was an American businessman and politician from New York.

Van Dyke was born on October 26, 1926, in Cobleskill, Schoharie County, New York.

Following graduation, he entered the U.S. Army/Air Force and served in the military police, and was honorably discharged from the service in 1946.

[2] He married Doris West of Middleburgh during his military tour and they subsequently raised three children.

Van Dyke established a Chrysler dealership in 1957 and a real estate development corporation in 1959.
