[2] Since 1957, it has undertaken the task of providing long-term military training to foreign officers.
The college traces its history back to the East China Military and Political University, which was abolished on November 28, 1950.
[4] The following year, in connection with the reforms of 2015, the school was renamed to the Army Command College.
[5] The college is known to host exchange students from foreign countries such as Azerbaijan, The Gambia, South Korea and Pakistan.
[6][7] The college oversees the International Military Education Exchange Center (IMEEC).
