Arne Hamarsland

Arne Hamarsland (born 24 July 1933) is a Norwegian middle-distance runner who specialized in 1500 metres.

At the 1960 Summer Olympics, he finished ninth in the 1,500m final in 3:45.0 minutes.

He also competed at the 1958 European Championships without reaching the final.

[3] He has represented the Centre Party for eight years in Ytrebygda borough council, and chaired Bergen Sports Council from 1997 to 1998.
