The arrondissement of Verdun is an arrondissement of France in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region.

[2] Its population is 82,317 (2021), and its area is 2,828.6 km2 (1,092.1 sq mi).

[3] Six communes in the arrondissement have been uninhabited since the First World War.

[4] As a result of the reorganisation of the cantons of France which came into effect in 2015, the borders of the cantons are no longer related to the borders of the arrondissements.
