Arthur Blennerhassett (1799–1843)

He was born the son of Arthur and Dorcas née Twiss Blennerhassett and educated at Trinity College, Dublin.

In the 1832 elections for Tralee he fought a duel with the Liberal candidate Maurice O'Connell (MP).

He died whilst staying in Nantes, France aged only 44.

He had married Frances Grady in 1821; they lived at Ballyseedy and had 9 children.
