Arthur Hull (percussionist)

He is seen by many as the person who conceived and developed the idea of the facilitated community drum circle.

Hull ran his first intensive 6 day long "Drum Circle Facilitator's Playshop" in Hawaii in 2000, and has hosted them there annually since then.

Alongside these Hull travels for 6 months of every year running weekend trainings in countries across the world.

Freed from the pressure to get things right, people can relax and let the rhythms play them.

Many, having become comfortable with their drum through such play, will go on to learn specific rhythms and cultures.
