Arthur W. Kopp

Arthur William Kopp (February 28, 1874 – June 2, 1967) was a U.S. Representative from Wisconsin.

He graduated from the law department of the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1900, and was admitted to the bar the same year and commenced practice in Platteville, Grant County.

[1] He served as member of the board of aldermen in Platteville from 1903 till 1904, and was the city attorney in 1903 and 1904.

[1] Kopp was elected circuit judge of the fifth judicial district of Wisconsin in 1942 and served until his retirement January 1, 1955.

He was a reserve circuit judge after retirement, accepting occasional assignments.
