Arthur Wilhelmi (born 1968) is a former Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 43rd District since he was appointed in 2005, until his resignation in February 2012.
Wilhelmi attended Joliet Catholic High School and has a BA degree from Loyola University of Chicago, with a major in English and minors in Philosophy and Political Science.
After passing the Illinois State Bar Examination, Wilhelmi was sworn in as an attorney in 1993, and joined the McKeown Law Firm.
In 2009, the partners opened a law firm, Murer, Brick & Wilhelmi, LLC.
B. Pritzker appointed Wilhelmi a member of the gubernatorial transition's Healthy Children and Families Committee.
