Asemahle Ntlonti (born 1993) is a contemporary South African artist living and working in Cape Town.
[1] She is best known for her political work that deals with her experience as a black female growing up in South Africa.
[2] Asemahle's recent work has dealt with the trauma of the frequent death and violence inflicted on black bodies.
[3] She is a member of iQhiya Collective which is made up of 11 black women based in Cape Town, Johannesburg, South Africa and Botswana.
Ntlonti was top ten finalist for Barclays L’Atelier in 2016 and participated in Infecting The city.
