Ashland Heights is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Pennington County, South Dakota, United States.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2), of which 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2) is land and 0.34% is water.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 837 people, 331 households, and 213 families residing in the CDP.

There were 355 housing units at an average density of 120.9 per square mile (46.7/km2).

26.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
