In a Roman-era inscription[5] found east of Pella, ἡ πόλις Ἀλλανταίων ("the city of Allanteans"), honours deified Roman emperors.

[Ἀταλα]νταῖοι, Atalantaioi, are also mentioned near to Edessaioi and Europaioi in a dedicatory inscription from Argos.
