Audrey Briggs

Audrey Briggs (née Brown, born 31 January 1945)[1] is a Welsh amateur golfer.

[5][6][7] In 1976, playing with Patricia Harvie, she reached the final of the Avia Foursomes, finishing a stroke behind the winners, Sally Barber and Angela Bonallack.

[8] Briggs represented Great Britain & Ireland in the Vagliano Trophy at Worplesdon in 1971 and in the Netherlands in 1973, being on the winning side on both occasions.

[9][10][11] In 1969 she made her debut for Wales in the Women's Home Internationals and competed in 16 successive events, making her final appearance in 1984.

[12][13][14] In 1976 they tied all three matches 4½–4½ and finished runners-up to England, who narrowly beat Scotland on the final day.
