John Olgus "Augie" Prudhomme (November 20, 1902 – October 4, 1992) was an American pitcher in Major League Baseball.
He started his professional baseball career in 1926, with the New England League's Lawrence Merry Macks.
That season, he went 19–11 with a 4.79 earned run average and led the league in wins and innings pitched.
[3] In 1928, he went 19–15 with a 3.02 ERA, and this earned him a spot on the Detroit Tigers' roster.
[1] He returned to the minors in 1930 and his career petered out from there, as he never posted another ERA total under 4.50.
