Augustin (German: Agestendorf; Hungarian: Ágostonfalva) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania.
Formerly part of Ormeniș, it was split off in 2005 to form a separate commune.
It lies in the southern part of the Baraolt basin, on the left bank of the Olt River.
Nestled at the foot of the Perșani Mountains, 475 m (1,558 ft) above sea level, it is 50 km (31 mi) away from Brașov, the county seat.
The Augustin train station serves Main Line 300 of the CFR network, which connects Bucharest with the Hungarian border near Oradea.
