Aurora, Kansas

Aurora is a city in Cloud County, Kansas, United States.

[3] In 1887, Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway built a branch line from Neva (three miles west of Strong City) through Aurora to Superior, Nebraska.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.10 square miles (0.26 km2), all land.

[6] The 2020 United States census counted 56 people, 13 households, and 7 families in Aurora.

There were 27 housing units at an average density of 267.3 per square mile (103.2/km2).

38.5% of households consisted of individuals and 23.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The community is served by Concordia USD 333 public school district.
