Ayse Asar (born 19 December 1975) is a German jurist and politician of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen.

She has been secretary of state for the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts since 2019.

Asar was born to Turkish parents[1] in Bad Schwalbach on 19 December 2023.

[1] She studied law from 1944 at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, continuing in 1996 at the University of Cologne,[2] where she achieved the first state exam in 1999.
