Büdelsdorf

Büdelsdorf (Danish: Bydelstorp) is a town in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

The earliest inhabitants of the area which later became Büdelsdorf, were Stone-Age people who lived there around 3000 BC.

In 1827, Hartwig Marcus Holler opened the Carlshütte, the first industrial-age iron- and steelworks in the duchy.

In 1988, Büdelsdorf acquired vast areas of land and managed to attract several companies.

In 2000, Büdelsdorf was granted the title of town, opening new opportunities for its future development.
