Additionally, the scheme supports exposure visits to neighboring institutes to assist students with project and dissertation work, as well as the acquisition of relevant books and journals.
[3] Since 2016, the College has operated an Institutional Biotech Hub, supported financially by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

[11] On September 13, 2024, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced a grant of ₹10 crore along with additional land allocations to facilitate the expansion of the B. Borooah College campus area.
Primarily designed to host functions, it is a spacious and well-structured venue equipped to accommodate a large number of attendees.
The auditorium plays a crucial role during the admission process for Higher Secondary (HS), Undergraduate (UG), and Postgraduate (PG) programs, as all admission-related formalities and procedures are conducted here annually.
