Badruddin Ahmed Siddiky (1915-1991) was a Bangladeshi Jurist and the Chief Justice of East Pakistan.
[1] Siddiky was born on 4 January 1915 in Dhaka, East Bengal, British Raj.
[1] During the Bangladesh Liberation War, he refused to administer the oath of governor of East Pakistan to General Tikka Khan.
His house was surrounded by soldiers of Pakistan army to compel his to administer the oath but he refused.
[2] In 1986 he was appointed adviser to the President of Bangladesh, Hussain Muhammad Ershad, with the rank equal to that of a minister.
