Baghestan-e Sofla (Persian: باغستان سفلي)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Baghestan Rural District, in Eslamiyeh District, Ferdows County, South Khorasan province, Iran.
[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Baghestan-e Olya,[5] now the city of Baghestan.
[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 610 in 188 households, when it was in the Central District.
[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 707 people in 223 households.
