Bagnore

Bagnore (Italian: [ˈbaɲɲore]) is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Santa Fiora, province of Grosseto.

[1] Bagnore is about 60 km from Grosseto and 2 km from Santa Fiora, and it is situated along the provincial road which links Santa Fiora to Arcidosso, in the southern side of Monte Amiata.

The springs of Acquaforte were very popular during the 19th century and they were awarded at the Universal Exposition in Paris in 1900.

A large geothermal power plant for the exploitation of the subsoil was built in 1997, designed by architect Stefano Boeri.

[2][3] The village is also known as the place of death of the preacher David Lazzaretti.
