Bakhta (Russian: Бахта) is a rural locality (a village)[6] in Turukhansky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia.
[3] The village is located in the right bank of the Yenisei, by its confluence with the Bakhta River.
Bakhta houses the Museum of Taiga Traditions.
[7] Mirnoye hamlet is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the south of Bakhta, also on the same bank of the Yenisei.
[8] The Central Siberia Nature Reserve, a protected area of the East Siberian taiga ecoregion, is located in the limits of Bakhta.
