Balkrishna Shinde is an Indian film actor and director.

He came to limelight in Rajiv Patil's film Savarkhed Ek Gaon for his role as Baban.

Later, he completed his B.Com from Lal Bahadur Shastri College, Satara.

He also his Bachelors and Masters in Journalism and holds a diploma in software management from Aptech.. Balkrishna Shinde has appeared in both TV serials and films, though he is best known for his role as Patangrao Nangare Patil in Star Pravahas's Premacha Game Same To Same, which was produced by Sobo Films.

His 2005 film, Dombivali Fast, received the Marathi Cinema Award at the 4th PIFF, 2006.
