Ballville, Ohio

Ballville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sandusky County, Ohio, United States, adjacent to Fremont.

[5] The community was named after Colonel Ball, a local Indian fighter.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 3,255 people, 1,332 households, and 1,008 families residing in the CDP.

There were 1,375 housing units at an average density of 501.4 per square mile (193.6/km2).

21.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
