Balmoral is a suburb of Auckland, New Zealand that is bordered by Mount Eden, Epsom, Mount Roskill and Sandringham and is located approximately 5 km from the centre of Auckland.
Much of the housing in the area is from the 1920s and 1930s, often in the Californian Bungalow style.

The results were 64.1% European (Pākehā); 6.6% Māori; 5.3% Pasifika; 31.8% Asian; 2.8% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders (MELAA); and 1.7% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander".
The percentage of people born overseas was 39.0, compared with 28.8% nationally.
Of those at least 15 years old, 3,981 (50.1%) people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 2,745 (34.5%) had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 1,224 (15.4%) people exclusively held high school qualifications.
