As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 217 people, 66 households, and 50 families residing in the township.
The racial makeup of the township was 97.70% White, 0.92% Native American, and 1.38% from two or more races.
19.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
About 8.7% of families and 17.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 22.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 22.2% of those 65 or over.
