Barbara L. Toles (born July 31, 1956) is an American community organizer and Democratic politician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She graduated from Milwaukee's West Division High School in 1973, and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, in 1979.

Toles ran as a Democrat for the vacant seat in the January 2004 special election.

[3] Since leaving office, Toles has remained active with the teachers' union and the community.

Most recently, she has been vocal in initiatives to increase road safety and decrease traffic deaths in Milwaukee.
