Charles Barry Jackson (2 February 1938 – 7 November 2021) was an English footballer who played as a defender, making 482 league appearances for York City.
Jackson started his career as a forward, playing in school and minor league football in York.
During the 1969–70 season, in three games against Cardiff City in the FA Cup, he snuffed out the young John Toshack.
[1] Jackson joined Scarborough for a short period, after which he worked for the electricity board before retiring.
