The club spent almost two decades as a Second Division outfit before winning the league title in 2012, which resulted in their promotion to the Dhaka Senior Division League, Dhaka's top tier and the country's third tier.

It serves as the main recreational facility for residents, featuring a children's play area and a food court.

Additionally, it houses the Basabo Youth Association building, which includes a library, gymnasium, and indoor sports rooms.
