Basil Coleby Roberts was an Anglican bishop[1] in the first half of the 20th century.
Ordained in 1912,[4] his first post was as a Curate at St Jude's, Salterhebble.
[6] He was Chaplain of Selangor[7] from 1922 to 1927[8] when he became Bishop of Singapore,[9] a post he held until 1940.
The following year he became Warden of St Augustine's[10] and an Assistant Bishop of Canterbury (both until 1955).
