Bassam Kawas

Bassam Kawas (Arabic: بسام قواص) is a Lebanese Olympic middle-distance runner.

[1] Kawas made his international debut at the 1991 Summer Universiade in Shedfield in the 800 metres event.

[2][3] He later represented his country in the men's 1500 meters and the men's 800 meters at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

[4] Kawas was also an accomplished cross country runner, winning the 1992 Lebanese Cross Country Championships men's race.
