Battle of Booda-Cadde

The battle was part of the broader ongoing conflict between Somaliland and Puntland over territorial disputes.

During the battle, Somaliland forces captured Mohamed Farah Adan, a prominent member of the Puntland administration.

Adan, who was the former vice Minister of Justice and a current member of the Puntland parliament, was detained for a week in Erigavo before being released the following month.
