The battle of Tupraq Qaleh was a battle during the Ottoman–Persian War (1821–1823).
The Ottoman court sent a large army under the command of Mohammad Amin Pasha to Erzurum to recapture the lost areas of Armenia.
Abbas Mirza, who heard the news of this advance, hastily moved towards "Tupraq Qaleh" which was guarded by Iranian soldiers and surrounded by the Turkish army, and there was a fierce battle between Abbas Mirza and the Turkish army.
In that war, the Iranian soldiers showed the utmost bravery and the artillery of the Turkish army fell into the hands of Iran, and finally, after a day and night of war, the Turkish army was defeated.
[4][5][6] In order to show that he was not at war with the Ottomans, Abbas Mirza sent "Mirza Taqi Khan Mostofi" who was a high-ranking "Farahani governor" and a resourceful and eloquent man to Erzurum to discuss with the defeated enemy about the truce and peace treaty and border disputes.
