Bayelsa State Judicial Service Commission

The Bayelsa State Judicial Service Commission, established under Section 197(1)(c) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria is the executive body responsible for handling matters related to the appointment, discipline, and promotion of judicial officers and their support staff in Bayelsa State.

The Commission is chaired by the Chief Judge of Bayelsa State.

All members of the Bayelsa State Judicial Service Commission are appointed by the Governor of Bayelsa State, subject to confirmation by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
