Beau Zam

Beau Zam (6 November 1984 – 17 April 2000) was a New Zealand-bred and Australian-trained Thoroughbred racehorse[1] that won five Group 1 races.

Beau Zam was the first Australian horse to win over $2 million in stake money.

Races he won included the following: He was also placed: Beau Zam was trained by Bart Cummings[4] and generally ridden by John Marshall.

[6] After his racing career, Beau Zam stood at stud in Japan and New Zealand.

[7] In 1996 he became the foundation sire at Brighthill Farm, Waikato, New Zealand and he produced over 100 winners.
