Rebecca "Becky" Schroeder (born 1962) is an American inventor and one of the youngest females to be granted a U.S. patent at the age of 12.
Her father, Charles Schroeder, was a patent attorney and inventor, which provided Becky with an environment that nurtured creativity and innovation.
As daylight faded, she found it challenging to write in the dark and pondered the possibility of creating a material that could emit light without external sources.
Additionally, photographers and other professionals who required writing in dark environments found the Glo-Sheet to be a valuable tool.
[1] Over the years, Becky received a total of ten patents for her inventions, including improvements to the original Glo-Sheet.
[8] Becky's journey from a young girl with a bright idea to a recognized inventor exemplifies the power of curiosity and determination in driving technological advancements.
