Bekasi–Cawang–Kampung Melayu Toll Road

Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road or Becakayu is a toll road constructed over the Kalimalang River in East Jakarta and Bekasi, Indonesia to decrease traffic congestion around Kalimalang.

[1][2] The toll road began construction in 1996 by PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga, founded by Tommy Suharto, but was halted two years later due to the Asian financial crisis.

Investor and manager of Becakayu Toll Road is PT Waskita Toll Road, a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, which holds 98.97 percent of PT Kresna Kusuma Dyandra Marga shares.

On 3 November 2017, President Joko Widodo inaugurated the Section of IB and Becakayu Toll Road along Cipinang Melayu - Jakasampurna.

[3] After the inauguration, the toll is opened for free, and after two weeks, the entry fee is Rp14.000,00 for Group 1[4][5] The toll road is expected to be fully operational by 2018.
