[9][10] She won the gold medal in the women's 87 kg event at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games held in Cali and Valle, Colombia.

[15] Paredes won the silver medal in the women's 76 kg event at the 2023 Pan American Weightlifting Championships held in Bariloche, Argentina.
