American High School's Munich International School Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (1988–1994) Bence Gyöngyössy (born 26 November 1963 in Budapest) Balázs Béla-díj winning Hungarian film producer, film director, cinematographer, screenwriter and actor.
His parents were Imre Gyöngyössy (1930–1994), Balázs Béla-díj winning film director, poet[1] and Katalin Petényi (1941 –), art historian, film director, screenwriter and editor.
He began his secondary school education at the Madách Imre Gimnázium in Budapest, where he attended from 1978 to 1980.
From 1983 to 1988, he was a student of communication drama at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
From 1988 to 1994 he studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF).
