He was also the great-great-great-grandson of Sephardi-Jew of Portuguese descent Jacob Rodrigues Pereira, being son of Edmond Adolphe and grandson of Noémie de Rothschild.

Benjamin Edmond Maurice Adolphe Henri Isaac de Rothschild[1] was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine[5] on 30 July 1963.
