Bennett D. Katz (October 7, 1918 - November 1, 2007) was an American Republican politician from Maine.
[1] He was a United States Army Air Forces pilot and major during World War II.
His son, Roger Katz, was first elected to the Maine Senate in 2010 after serving as Mayor of Augusta.
Katz was instrumental in the founding of the University of Maine at Augusta in 1965.
