Bergfrid Fjose

Bergfrid Fjose (31 March 1915 – 13 May 2004) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party.

From 1943 to 1945 she was a refugee in Sweden due to the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany.

During this period she was the leader of the informal parliamentary temperance and nynorsk groups.

During her time in cabinet she was replaced in the Norwegian Parliament by Gunnar Mjånes and, briefly, Magne Haldorsen.

She was also active in Noregs Mållag, Aksjonen mot Atomvåpen and other organizations, and from 1989 to 1991 she was a member of the National Council for Senior Citizens.
