Bettina Hoffmann (born 18 January 1960) is a German politician of the Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry In addition to her parliamentary work, Hoffmann has been serving as Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection in the coalition government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 2021.
[1] After graduating from high school, studying biology and obtaining her doctorate at the University of Marburg, Hoffmann worked in her profession.
Hoffmann became a member of the Bundestag in the 2017 German federal election, representing the Schwalm-Eder district.
She has since been serving on the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and on the Parliamentary Advisory Board on Sustainable Development.
