Bhadauria

Bhadauria also referred as Bhadoria, Bhadouria, Bhadauriya, Bhadoriya or Bhaduria are a Kshatriya Rajput clan belonging to the Chauhans of Shakambhari and Ajmer.

[1] The chief of the clan was the ruler of the Bhadawar Estate in the region of Bhind in Madhya Pradesh before the Partition of India in 1947.

The rulers of Bhadawar commissioned the construction of the Ater Fort, situated near Bhind, which later also served as their ruling seat.

The Badhauria Rajputs mostly worship the Shiva (the destroyer), Surya (the sun god), and Durga (the mother goddess).

Thus the boundaries of the estate extended up to Gwalior in the South, Dholpur in the West, Mathura, Agra and Etawah in the North and parts of Kanpur in the East.
