[1] Bharoli Junction railway station is located at an elevation of 320 metres (1,050 ft).

This station is located on the single track, 5 ft 6 in (1,676 mm) broad gauge, Amritsar–Pathankot line which was established in 1884.

[2] Bharoli station also lies on double track Jalandhar–Jammu line creating a junction between two routes.

[5] It was reported in April 2019 that the electrification of the single track BG Amritsar–Pathankot line had commenced.
